I don't think I have ever laughed as much reading a coloring book as I did with this one. I am not in the medical profession, however, I have several nurse friends. Several of the quotes are nurse specific but most are relatable to even those who are not nurses. The mandala frames around the awesome quotes are beautifully drawn. They are lots of fun to color. The paper is a bit thin so alcohol markers do ten to bled a little so be mindful of that and be sure to use a thick divider paper so that you don't accidently color on the next page. I did have a little trouble blending with my prismas on this paper but my crayola and marco raffine pencils worked beautifully. I highly recommend this coloring book to everyone irregardless of your profession.I received this book as part of a preferred reader program for testing and have provided an unbiased review.
I was in the market for a coloring book, and when I stumbled upon this I thought it was fantastic. I just received it, and I'm so excited! It's a great size, the quality of the cover/back is amazing, and the pictures themselves are hilarious! Very relatable, and seem like they'll be a blast to color in (especially as a break from nursing school)! The pages themselves are a bit thinner than expected, so I probably wouldn't use any heavy duty markers (in fear of them bleeding through). Otherwise fantastic!
On top of being a new RN, I am a huge adult coloring book fanatic. I have a ton of adult coloring books, but I can honestly say this is the best one I have by far.I originally got into adult coloring books to relieve stress. Especially after a long, stressful 12 hour shift, coloring these sassy pages is the best stress relief. The pages are very humorous and hilariously true, making them that much more fun to color.Although the quotes are fun to read, I have to say my favorite part of this coloring book is coloring in the borders. From the mandala frames to the floral wreaths, the borders of these snarky quotes are so beautifully drawn. I'm always satisfied with the end result, which is pretty impressive considering that I am quite a perfectionist, where even the slightest mark outside the lines drives me insane.I can honestly say this is my favorite coloring book to date, and I will totally be buying more of these to give as presents to my fellow RN's.I received this product for free/ at a discounted price in exchange for my unbiased honest opinion; however, this does not influence or reflect my opinion about this coloring book.
This book is so awesome. You may be wondering if it is truly a high quality adult coloring book or a quirky novelty gift to a nurse friend. Well, it's definitely both. The book is set up so that the back side of each image is a black and gray pattern so you aren't coloring on both the front and back side of every page. The paper is thick and feels nice-nothing like the paper in the thin, rough, pulpy My Little Pony coloring books I buy for my daughter to get us through a plane ride. I can only imagine that the author went to any nurse lounge and announced, "Drinks are on me at the bar down the strret after your shift ends". Then after the nurses imbibed in multiple beverages and got really funny and honest the author started jotting down the zingy one-liners and voila! The birth of this book. I cannot wait to give it to my step sister who recently began her nursing career. As a teacher myself, I appreciate the ability to tongue-in-cheek laugh at the absurdity of our challenging professions. It's humor like this that keeps us just sane enough to go to work every day.I received a reduced purchase price to review this product. This review is honest and accurate all-the-way.
This book is too funny! I bought one for my sister (she is an RN) for nurse appreciation week. I liked it so much that I bought several to put in our "thank you" bags for the labor and delivery nurses.
I got this book in time on my prime account, quality is nice and love the cover and the feel of it. Paper is nice and bright white. Easy to color and very funny sayings. I will buy for all nurse friends. Love this book!
This coloring book makes me happy. The designs are mostly floral and geometric patterns framing true-to-the-title snarky phrases. I color to relieve work stress and this coloring book is perfect. It would make a great gift for the nurse in your life and I rarely recommend nurse-specific gifts. The cover has a nice feel to it. The pages are single sided. The paper quality is good. I'll update once I've colored some pages. There's at least one that I want to complete and frame.
