I love but come on. Charging for a product manual? $60 for a case for the new Voyage? Pay extra for the plug-in charger/adapter? Pleeeeeese........enough is enough. I paid $200 for this new ereader and I won't be paying for any extras as this price. Come on; there are a LOT of us older Americans who are on a fixed income and this is a luxury for us. So don't nickle-and-dime us to death, please! Also the 'unlimited' program should definitely be renamed to 10 at a time.
Very good, but why doesn't include a user manual with the Voyage?
Despite the rush to complete and get ready to present to the public - good load of mis-spellings and other assorted typos, it was worth the purchase, if only to have another explanation for the newest model of Kindle e-reader. I bought it before my Kindle Voyage arrived, hoping to have most of the differences mastered, but unless the reader is also present, the directions don't help much.
Disappointed. First of all, why didn't it come with the Kindle for free? To pay over $200 for the Kindle and NOTHING comes with it, especially a user manual. If you have never owned a Kindle, this manual is for you. If you have had a Kindle in the past, forget this manual. Just the basics!
This is well written, but I REALLY need it in a print edition! I wanted to be able to download it and print it out, so I could use it, as I was using the Kindle. This is my first eReader, and I'm not comfortable not being able to see how to do the things I want/need while doing them. At almost 80, those things matter a lot.UPDATE:I finally figured out how to download the manual, in PDF format, and was able to print it out. I would increase the number of stars to 5 now!
Was useful but could have used some illustrations to show some of the more complicated functions.
Helps a lot. Having the diagrams next to the words would help.
My husband and I are thrilled to have the new Kindle Voyage -- We always adored our first Kindle, but it was dropped in the pool and never was the same after that --Although we are not high-tech people and are still getting used to some aspects that seem second-nature to others, we very much appreciate the "improvements" -- such as not having to recharge every single night. Instead Voyage doesn't need a new energy boost until a month or two have passed !
