While this e-book does include many recipes for simmering potpourri, it does not include pictures at all. Also, some of the instructions are just strange. For example, the author instructs you to fill a mason jar with dried potpourri and then fill it with water to give as a gift. Why would you fill it with water? One other thing: The book has many recipes that feature citrus peels and citrus fruit, but nowhere here are there instructions about how to dry the fruit. (I eventually found them by doing a simple google search.) My take: Save yourself $4 and spend 10-15 minutes doing google searches. The same info is easily available for free.

There are many wonderful recipes in this book. My kids and I have been trying different ones. The kids have a lot of fun making them, and then we all enjoy the wonderful smells. Perfect for our family, as most commercial fragrances give me a horrible headache!

Wish ya had smellavision?! Simmer Scents is a generous pot full of 75 recipes, something for everyones taste. I liked the clear instructions, the handy index, and the listed natural benefits. I am looking forward to putting a pot on with numerous of these easy peasy recipes.

These recipes all sound wonderfully aromatic and inviting. Can't wait to try them out. The hard part will be deciding which to try first. I definitely recommend this book.
