Interesting book with a lot of information. My one complaint, and its a big one, the writer left out reviews of the 1953 and 1954 Bowman sets. Literally skipping from the 1952 Bowman to the innovative 1955 Bowman t.v. set. There were some interesting comments about football sets but none on early Bowman football sets such as the classic 1951 set. As you guessed I am partial to the early Bowman sets but I am also a big fan of later Topps sets, such as 1956, 1959, 1961, 1967 and particularly the 1957 set, my favorite. The writer does praise the 1957 set extensively.
