Before reading this book, I read Young’s introductory book for the Kindle Fire called Kindle Fire: The Complete Guidebook - For Your Kindle Fire HDX and HD. I definitely recommend this introductory book to get up to speed on using your kindle. It has a wealth of information.In this new book, Young provides us with many tips and troubleshooting solutions. He begins by explaining a number of problems that you could run into, such as what to do if you kindle freezes or crashes, what to do if your device is lost or stolen, what if you forgot your password, etc. He covers quite a few important tips in this first chapter. In subsequent chapters he tackles issues with keyboards; Wi-Fi connection issues; and using the books, music, audio books, and photos libraries. There is a chapter about using personal content on the kindle. For example, reading PDF’s, EPUB books, accessing downloaded files, and using the USB cable with your computer to access content. He also provides tips on using the Apps and Games libraries, as well a chapter devoted to using the Silk browser. He finishes up with some troubleshooting ideas for Email, Contacts and the Calendar apps.I would start with Young’s introductory book I mentioned at the beginning and then conclude with this book. You’ll find yourself well equipped to a handle any problems with your kindle.
Michael provides this book free to those who bought his previous book on the Kindle. You can't get much better service than that.
