Wonderful bourbon recipes! Well written and has enjoyable commentary throughout the book. Will be consulting this book often for special desserts. Only thing I found to be missing was a recipe for Bourbon Sauce and Bread Pudding.
Lots of creative recipes that highlight bourbon, instead of just adding bourbon flavor to an established recipe. Interesting facts about bourbon are included as well. The perfect gift for bourbon lovers. I just wish there were more pictures.
Every recipe that I have tried has been wonderful. All of the desserts have been a hit; whether they were for tailgating, company, or holiday gift- giving. I really enjoy the family stories and local insight in the book. Since I'm from Kentucky, the bourbon capitol, this cookbook was given for Christmas presents, and was well received.
I have loved every recipe I have made so far. Plus I love the write ups with each recipe. A great book!
