Why didn't anyone come up with a book like this until now? I am a huge Halloween fan, but in today's economy, it's hard to really get into the spirit of the season and not blow a complete paycheck. This book offers affordable (in some cases, basically no-cost) ways to achieve good....really good....Halloween effects and party ideas...even down to some really creepy and cool cocktails. There really is something here for everybody of all ages. My kids will get a charge out of making many of the spooky decorations and our annual Halloween party will get a creepy new look with original and different food and drinks, all thanks to this book. I especially like the creative use of small holiday lights to illuminate and enhance our Jack-O-Lantern. No candles or messy wax to deal with this year, and I can re-use the lights and other things next year, and the year after that, and the year after that!
This is a neat book for lots of reasons, especially since it is written by someone in the television and movie industry. There are a lot of trade secrets revealed here, but all easy to do and make. Halloween is still over a month away, but we're already trying out some of these things and having a blast. Can't wait to put it all together for a neat, inexpensive Halloween for kids and grown-ups.
