Good list of things for the beginning quilter to know and have. Interesting information but no projects. The kind of book for a very beginning sewer who wants to learn about quilting. Experienced seamstresses will find nothing new and no projects.
I found this book to be very straightforward, and this is excellent for an approach for beginners!!! I always consider myself a beginner even though i have been studying the art of quilting for roughly nine years, and im terrified of triangles and just about anything except a 2 1/2 in strip or a simple square, lol! A phobia however i now know it exists so i will overcome it!!! I HOPE TO HAVE. JESUS CLEAR ME OF THIS BECAUSE HE HAS DONE FAR MORE THAN THIS IN MY LIFE AND MY FAITH!!! Awesome book!!!
I chose this book looking for information regarding machine quilting. Found this is a very basic book that more or less describes the skill of quilting. It didn't have much info I didn't already know. May be a good read for someone trying to decide if they want to try the craft and advises what they need to get started and what to expect. Definitely a motivational read.
Loved it. It was exactly what I needed. Very basic ,very thorough. Just wish it had mentioned sizes more as if how big the squares need to be, how many rows etc.
Good book for beginner. Lets you know what is necessary to start quilting. Even a good book for those who need to consolidate their sewing room.
Gives a newbie exact info to make a basic quilt and the ability to start with confidence. Basic of basics!
This is a quick read and very informational! I was very pleased with this book.
Must have lots of photos for beginners. I gave it two stars not enough pictures and its the same old info written on every search engine that you ask about being a new quilter.
