I bought this book because my boyfriend is a good shooter, so I want to learn it so that I can come with him when he's playing. The book offers that. The author gives comprehensive guidelines before you start firing up your own gun. I just hope that there will be a second book with instructions on how to fire a gun.
A complete guide on what to buy and the uses. There are also helpful insights on why you should or should not get a gun. There are also other things that a person should really know first before having a gun. Having a gun is also having a very big responsibility. I really recommend this book for those who are thinking of having a gun.
This book is concise and covers the basics to gun ownership. A good factor that I respect about the author is that he talks about the responsibility that a gun owner has and also knowing why you want to buy a gun. Knowing the dangers and taking preventative measures to heighten the safety when out and about using a gun is a very important aspect as a gun owner. This is a great starting point for those considering investing in a gun themselves
My father is in military and Guns is like our bonding moment if his not on tour. I always wanted to have a Gun for myself, not just for protection but for my own satisfaction as well. Every time I fire a Gun on a firing range or hunting in a forest with my Dad, I get this feeling of releasing the beast inside of me. I think everyone has it. We just have to figure out how we satisfy our guts.

Though some people think owning a gun is one of their hobby or some is for self defense I don't considered myself buying one. I am a father of two beautiful sons and for their safety I won't risk any. This book is really interesting especially to beginners like me who is having dilemma whether I'll buy or not. Owning a guy is a very big responsibility and I don't think I'm ready for it. I'm just happy that I've read this book and learned some basics.​
