I bought this for my mother of 82.She has just started a new hobby collecting half dolls.She uses the book all the time, and has taken pictures of her half dolls and put them in the appropriate pages in the book.She is delighted with the book because now she feels she knows what she is looking at.
This book was recomended by an antiques dealer as the best information about half-dolls. It is georgeous with lots of information and pictures. Most are in black and white but you can really see the detail and the color photos are of really nice dolls. I'm so glad I listened and was able to find this book.
As a doll collector, this book is a wonderful reference book. My only preference would have been the use of color photographs rather than black and white.
