Phantom- The Corba Diamonds (1979)Total Pages: 32Adventures of Phantom- The Ghost Who Walks High Quality scanned Digital ComicHigh Quality Scan of old precious collection.Only for Die-Hard Comic Lovers who want their lost treasure back.Indrajal Comics was very popular comic brand in India between 1960 & 1990.Published by the publisher of the Times of India, Bennett Coleman and Co, it produced about 805 issues from 1964 to 1990.Major characters were syndicated from King Features, and included The Phantom (more than 50% of material featured the Phantom), Mandrake the Magician, Flash Gordon, Bahadur, Rip Kirby, Buz Sawyer, etc.. From 1964-1982, the issues were numbered linearly from 1-443. Issues No.123 and No.124 were not printed due to industrial strike. To avoid confusion among Indian readers, there were some minor changes done to the name of the Phantom's location and some characters in stories published in Indrajal Comics. The term " Bengali" or "Bengalla" or "Bengal" was changed to "Denkali" and in some issues "Dangalla" as well. This was since there is a state called "Bengal" in India and this may lead the readers to wonder about the "Pygmy" people that don't exist in Bengal.From January 1983, No.444, was identified as Vol.20, No.1, till it ended at Vol.27 No.8, which would have been No.805 as per the original scheme.The series was variously published as a weekly, monthly and fortnightly.Apart from English, Indrajal Comics published the stories in at least a dozen other Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil and Kannada.मार्च १९६४ से प्रारम्भ हुई इस यात्रा ने पूरे छब्बीस वर्षों तक पूरे हिंदुस्तान को अपने जादू में जकड़े रखा| कितने ही दीवाने सुध-बुध भूल कर उस अद्भुत और रहस्यमय दुनिया में खोये रहे जो बिखरी थी इसके पन्नों की निराली छठा में| कुल ८०३ अंक प्रकाशित हुए जिनमें से आधे से ज्यादा में सर्वप्रिय नायक वेताल की कहानियाँ थीं| ली फाक के रचे इस शानदार चरित्र की गाथाएं दुनिया के अस्सी से भी अधिक देशों में एक साथ प्रकाशित होती थीं| ली फाक का ही एक अन्य चरित्र मैन्ड्रेक भी लोकप्रियता में कोई पीछे नहीं था| इनके अतिरिक्त अन्य विश्व-स्तरीय कहानियाँ के बीच मौजूद था नितांत देसी चरित्र बहादुर| कई अंक भारतीय संस्कृति के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर भी प्रकाशित किए गए|
