Do not, however, be fooled into thinking this is a how-to book with tutorials on how to build your skills. Instead, this book thoroughly explains how every aspect of multimedia works, so that you can make informed decisions on how to go about creating your projects.
Book has met all of my college class expectations, has a lot of detailed information. CD comes with the book, however, I have never used the CD. Great book!
This is a great basic book for introduction to multimedia. It gives a good basis of functional knowledge to build a bit more technical competency on.

the book is good and well written however it contains mostly theory and not so much of hands on which I was looking for.
I rated this purchase 5 stars because it was in fantastic condition at a great price and exactly what I needed. I would recommend this to other students who are in the multimedia field.
It's a textbook, lightly written, easily read and understood. Nothing spectacular, certainly there are better choices, but if it's required reading, what are you going to do?
