I ordered this book for several of my first graders. They love jokes and this book did not fail them. I enjoyed watching and listening to them read the jokes to each other. They were excited about reading and didn't want to put this book down.
This newer elephant joke book has gone tame and is missing some of the better joke combinations (for example all of the gun jokes are not in this newer edition). Find the original if you're looking to walk down memory lane.
Bought this for my mom who loves elephants, and she got a kick out of it. It's great as an extra gift, or foranyone who enjoys elephants and goofy jokes. Guaranteed to give more than a few chuckles.
I remember elephant jokes from my childhood and wanted to share them with my 8 year old grandson. Old age has made me find them less hilarious but still fit for the young at heart. The book arrived in due course and in good condition. My grandson is now entertaining his friends with the jokes that tickle him.
My six-year-old grandson could not stop reading and telling the jokes. He loved it. The adults were a little overwhelmed by his enthusiasm, but he picked it up over and over and told the jokes over and over.
