First off, these are not an extensive review of every aspect in the weaponry, uniforms and tactics of the forces engaged in the Normandy conflict. What they are is a very quick and easily read reference which is ideal for me as a modeller looking for a point of reference when painting figure models for a WWII diorama. They do cover off a number of the participants and are an ideal start point. If you want more, go to the publishers bigger, more extensive releases but be prepared to pay rather handsomely for these.
This mini-guide provides a brief, but detailed look at German armor and amored units that fought at Normandy. It includes details of all the vechicles and Panzer unit preparedness at and after Operation Overlord. A nice addition to any collection on the campaign.
Not a bad booklet on the subject matter with some decent color pictures and text. Similar to Osprey or Squadron and would fit in nicely. Don't expect too much if you already have other reference books on the subject. Good for first-time modelers, wargaming or quick reference. Worth what I paid.
