In July 1943, the German Army launched what proved to be its last great offensive on the Eastern Front. It also includes appendices with information on orders of battle, losses and equipment. Kursk is an expert account of the moment when the Nazi state lost the initiative against the USSR and how then the course was set for the eventual destruction of Nazi Germany.

Great book-explains a lot if you are a history buff.Highly recommend.
I am not a WW 2 expert, but I really enjoyed this book. The author takes both sides of the battle with hundreds of references to help the reader better understand Germany's last chance. Extremely detailed. Not for the casual reader.
