I think this has been an educational read. It was able to show me how to hack, and this is something precious. Not because I want to hack for the sake of hacking, but because I'd like to learn how to be more secure. It is also amazing to know how the minds of hackers work. The topics are arranged in such a way that understanding will be achieved. It started with what Computer Hacking is all about, the different types of Hacks, I also get to know the difference between White Hat VS. Black Hat Hacking, and of course, the Computer Security Basic. This book has been a good read.
In hacking we have to know exactly what we are setting out to find - it makes little sense to start hacking blindly. You should know whether you want to see what an intruder sees on the target points of access, what he can do with that information, what the victim sees when a hack occurs. Another caution against being haphazard. Make sure that the testing process and interval is specified, and the networks you need to test clearly identified.
Being in the IT field, I also need to update myself about everything which falls under IT. Hacking, is one of my favorite topic. After reading the book, I enjoyed the details that were given in this book. I liked that part about the computer viruses that are spreading nowadays and causing havoc. I have also learned some code terms that are being used in hacking and that is useful for me. Informative book for me.
This has been a short read but it sure has been a meaty one. This Hacking book is surely an important read because it has things that an ordinary computer person must know. But it can also be used by anyone wanting to try this endeavor. Entering the world of a Hacker has been done by this book. The topics are all important and will prove handy and useful to anyone. Two particular topics that got me so interested are the ones on Simple Hacking Techniques and Hacking Terminology. Reading this has educated me big time.
People, not computers, create computer threats. Computer predators victimize others for their own gain. Give a predator access to the Internet — and to your PC — and the threat they pose to your security increases exponentially. Computer hackers are unauthorized users who break into computer systems in order to steal, change or destroy information, often by installing dangerous malware without your knowledge or consent. Their clever tactics and detailed technical knowledge help them access information you really don’t want them to have. This book is not just teaching us how to be a hacker, But the mean lesson in this book in my part it serves as a counterpart against hacker.
I got curious how hacking is being done and who particularly does it that is why i bought this book. Because i often use the term hacking when it refers to let say, getting the password of the wifi and the like. Good thing this book has explained well what is hacking including the types of hacking and hackers. It is a technical for me specially the course of discussion of the programs used for hacking - few among the listed are quite familiar because i have learned them from school (c++) while others are highly technical. Nonetheless, the basic information i needed to know are all presented by the book.
In today's age and time everything can be done online which is amazing because it means we get to save time. It also means that we increase the risk for hacking and identity theft with everything so easily accessible online. I got this book from the recommendation of a friend who, like me, is also conscious of their online security. Together we learned a lot from the author. Thanks to this book I learned the basics of hacking. The authors discussed here lots of techniques and strategies on how to become a true hacker novice. From the definition of hacking, its pros and cons, to its benefits,
This book keeps it abnormal state enough where a man with practically no experience can comprehend and apply the lessons and cases. This book is awesome for novices like me who need to take in more about hacking however they are not acquainted with it by any stretch of the imagination. The author gives pleasant considered getting moreover secured. It is a specialized for me uniquely the course of dialog of the projects utilized for hacking.I preferred that part about the PC infections that are spreading these days and bringing about devastation.
