This Christmas, I bought this book for my Mom who is from Trinidad. She loved it! The book itself was in excellent condition. The watercolor illustrations were warm and bright. We really enjoyed reading the story was delightful and reminiscent of Christmas on the island of Trinidad.
This book made me reminisce about my childhood growing up in Trinidad. The story contains tells of the traditions of how Christmas is celebrated in Trinidad. Glad I was able to share it with my son who was born and is growing up in the US!
I loved this book. My is from Trinidad and it described Christmas as most "Trinis" would. My mom enjoyed reading it.
