Good book for a raspberry startup. The book has the essentials to get you up and running quickly. Teaches how to format an SD card and transferring an operating system to the card from a computer for the raspberry to use.

I have friends who are really interested in Raspberry Pis and I'd been confused about what exactly it was. This book explained the ins and outs of how to use the Pi and what exactly it could be used for. I really like how it talked about the history of the Pi and how it came about. I thought that was very cool and it helped me to understand the Pi. Now I know exactly what it can do whereas I didn't know before.I also really liked how it was broken up into sections with clear headlines. That made it even easier to understand.

This is a must-read for beginners who'd like to learn about Raspberry Pi technology and still enjoy doing it. You can get a step-by-step guide in writing programs in Phyton which what my brother needs now. I showed the e-book to him and my husband and they were thankful someone thought of making one for geek guys like 'em (LOL). Each Raspberry Pi models in the book were clearly explained and features were also shown. You can also see the differences and advantages of using Raspberry Pi with other OS. What I like about it is the step-by-step guide on setting up other fun features that will be useful especially to someone like me who works at home and get my files sorted. I think this should be integrated in high school IT education especially for those planning to learn more about integrating software and different hardware systems and peripherals into their projects. I am training in Linux OS now and this e-book gave me more info about it.

Seemed like it was just thrown together. Incoherent. Terrible when attempting to show how to use shell in linux. Was not descriptive enough for the beginner. Seen a lot of information from another book called Getting Started With Raspberry Pi by Richardson Wallace. Lots of repetitive information in the first chapter. Was not pleased
