My 2nd grade students loved learning about Orik and his important job, especially since the story is told through his perspective! It is a fun format to have important discussions about helping others, forgiving yourself when you make mistakes and working persistently! I highly reccommend this book to all parents and teachers of elementary age kids!
This is an important message and the cartoon format appeals to all young children. It is currently the favorite read of my granddaughter who is under two years old. She can grasp the message that this dog is a helper and loves hearing all about it!
This is such a great book for any age but expecially children learning about differently able individuals!
