Found this book to have wonderful patterns to do or to allow you to expand your own creativity. If you are into more modern styles of stained glass - don't hesitate to purchase.

Absolutely gorgeous modern designs. I attempted to make the modern butterfly on the cover, but after working on it awhile realized I should have made it much bigger in order to not have so much trouble with teeny tiny pieces. It was to be a gift for my mother for Christmas, and time constraints made me abandon the project & make something much simpler. I hope to come back to this design one day (bigger!), and plan on doing another from the book as well. Really like her style! Would like to see more samples of completed windows.

This is the first Anna Croyle pattern book I purchased. I really like her style. Her patterns demonstrate an excellent sense of balance & movement, without being overly busy or bogged down in too much intricate detail. Many of the patterns are very easy without actually looking easy. The color pictures are really nice. I wish there had been a few more of them as her glass (color) choices are quite exciting. Her other contemporary pattern book is also a huge hit with me. I look forward to many more publications from her.

This book has some very nice patterns. As the title says, they are more modern than your average designs. It would have been nice to be able to preview a few more patterns before purchasing the book. When I showed the book to a local glass artist, he was impressed by the unique designs.

This booklet was ok, not what I had hoped for in the line of modern desgins. It had maybe 3 that I considered modern that I liked but not enough to make. However it might appeal to others just fine. Its a personal taste book.

This book has some nice designs however they are all in black and white. There are only 2 designs shown in color as they had to put them on the front and back cover. The designs are also all the size of a single page which is ok if you have a resizing program or a scanner and don't mind resizing them on your computer. Otherwise there are some designs I will use so it was worth the money.

Ordered this for my wife who works in stained glass. She thinks this is the best pattern book she has ever seen and is already planning projects around two of the patterns she found.
