As a beginner in making jewelry, I see this book becoming my go to book. This book gives step by instructions on everything. Every little item needed for starting to make jewelry is explained in full. I love this book. Everything from materials needed, to the how tos are completely and well described in this book. Not only are the materials needed told, but exactly what they are and how to use them are explained. Pictures of items are clear and coincide with explanations. I give this book and writer a thumbs up. The author knows how to explain the art itself, what you need, where to find it and exactly what to use and how exactly to obtain the results needed for a complete project. I would definitely recommend this book to others who are wanting to learn the craft.
Although the book gives a basic summary of how to make jewelry, it contains few photos, which would have greatly improved its usefulness. Most importantly, it's misleading because nowhere does it contain instructions on how to make the beautiful rope bracelet/necklace on the cover, which is the reason i bought it in the first place. For 99 cents I can live with it. Just don't expect to learn what it purports to teach you based on the cover. Very disappointing.
The book specifically states that it is for beginners however there are no step by step pictures and only very tiny pictures of a few steps and finished projects. Wasted my money

It was not as advertised. The picture on the cover was not in the book. I consider this to be false advertising, and would not recommend this book at all. Any elementary school arts and craft class can create what was in this book.

Very good instructions on creating findings, how to bend wire. If you are looking for the pattern for the green seed bead necklace good luck. I could not find it in there.
