These are wonderfully complex (without being frustrating, which some of the so-called "stress-relieving" coloring books can be, with the designs guaranteed to give you a migraine. This is fun to color, and look lovely hung on a window. The paper is described as "translucent" ... which means it's not regular paper, but a special kind that is semi-opaque, so that it does in fact have a stained glass effect when held against the light or placed in sunny windows. It's especially good for watercolors, which themselves are translucent, so you really get a fabulous effect when you hang it in a window. Also, using watercolors at least (I can't say about other mediums), you can see the colors on both sides perfectly!

I returned from a visit to Granada, Spain and Al Hambra and I couldn't resist this fun coloring book. Every time I color or paint the delicate geometric tiles, I remember the walls of Granada.
