Covers nearly all the designs of actions available with today's shotguns and a few antiques still in service today. I've rated it with 4 stars as I found some of the descriptions did not include all the information I felt necessary. However, with a little mechanical knowledge or gunsmithing experience the missing information could be determined. Has great information on reassembly and notes on what to look for during reassembly.
A valuable reference book for anyone interested in gun assembly in general and shotgun assembly in particular. Lots of information, highly recommended.
I WAS DISSAPPOINTED IN THAT some of the older shotguns were excluded or reported incorrectly like the western field and the model 31 remington.i have a lot of those come into the shop this is one of the reasons why i bought it.
Covers a lot of designs and brands of shotguns. With a little mechanical knowledge or gun smithing experience this book will help with a lot of gun manufactures disassembly and assembly.
Only place I could find detailed disassembly instructions od a Noble shotgun. Thank you. I hate to take something apart without a few hints of how to reassemble.
