While I love having this text on my Kindle and iPad for ease of taking it with me on the go, it is almost impossible to complete reading assignments without asking for more information from the instructor. There is no indication to page numbers so when they assign pages 351-371 there is no way to know exactly what they want without asking. That is quite frustrating. Otherwise the direct links are great and the ability to retrieve my highlights in one central location is wonderful.

I am using my Ipad mini with the Kindle app to read my ebooks. I'm not sure if it is my set up or if it is the ebook itself, but the links that say click here to go to a specific site do not work. It just tries to highlight it. :( I am supposed to use these end of chapter assignments for my online class, but I can not view the directed material on page 35.

The condition of the book could have been much better but you get what you paid for. As for the book's content, the purchase was for a college course so the was little to no interest on the subject matter. I did enjoy the online content that came with this purchase but overall, most of the information in this edition is outdated. (The bookstore seller even mentioned it was outdated. Why it's still in use, I have no clue.)

Teachers Discovering Computers: Integrating Technology in a Connected Worldthis textbook is terrific. I really enjoyed reading it and then going online to the recommended links and tutorials. I was very edgy enrolling in this course as I am an older student and not very "techosavvy". The book offers so many resources and also explained how to do several online assignments very clearly which made the course easier for me . I really like this book!

There are some real nuggets of wisdom within this textbook. Having said that, there are a number of chapters that, if you are a "digital native," will not provide much in the way of new learning. However, if you are a newcomer to technology, this textbook does a wonderful job of walking through, step-by-step, every aspect of technology and its integration into the classroom.

This is a great book for any teacher who wants to inter grate technology. I like the fact that it's set up as a textbook. It has vocabulary words listed at the end of each chapter and follow up questions. I rented it first and I ended up buying it.

An easy read with a lot of up to date information regarding technology in the classroom. If you are getting the Kindle version, remember that there are no page numbers BUT you can easily reference key words in the text which is very helpful.

I love this book. this book is an eye opener to teaching with technology. I really recommend it to teachers and professor interested in integrating technology into the classroom.
