I recently purchased David Ganz's updated version of his book on State Quarters. For anybody interested in the legislative history, background, and design history of this very successful Quarter Dollar series, this book is a must have. Easy to read, detailed, and frankly quite interesting, this book, written by one of the accredited founders of the state quarter series belongs in every serious American numismatist's library, although the beginner will no doubt find this book extremely helpful as well. It provides a concise history of each state coin in this remarkable series. Well worth the modest cover price.
