This is a great book to introduce the beginner or the experienced collector to the Washington Quarter series of United States coinage. The overview and introductory material provides a great background introduction to the series. The real value of this book comes from the detail that is provided. Bowers provides a detailed look at each date and mint mark in the series. If you are thinking about putting together a collection of Washington Quarters, this is the place to start.
Although it was printed in 2007 it gives you a pretty good idea pf what to look for in collecting quarters.
I bought it because I wanted information on these particular nickels and the Volume No. didn't make a difference in the info. I didn't want prices but just information. With a current series of coin I would want a current volume.
read this book over and over again. find out whats worth saving. you will learn all about each quaters history of it's specific years history of what took place that year.
The perfect backup materials for collecting. Great listing for each year with good facts about each year and what is the hardest dates to get
