If you're looking for a personal guide to help your own child, or sunday class, this is a great tool chronologically written in understandable language true to the word of God. Each page is interesting, and each story has accurate, yet concise detail. The perforated pages make for easy photocopying with permission granted for each. This has been a great addition to our Pre-school Sunday Class.
I really enjoy this book of coloring pages and Bible stories that I can reproduce for my children's church class. The coloring pages are simple, and the Bible story is easy to understand.
This is a "Must Have" Coloring book for Church Preschool Teacher's, Sunday school teachers or to jsut use with your own children! My favorite part about these pictures are the stories on the back. This allows children to not only hear that story from you but they can also have their parents read the story too. This can also be used as a witnessing tool to parents! This is a WONDERFUL coloring book!
i think i just assumed there'd be more stories about the events leading up to and Jesus's sacrifice for our sins on the cross. there is one picture of him on the cross, and he's way off in the distance like its not the main focus. i think they make a separate coloring book all about Jesus and im sure they have more stories about the cross in there (i hope!) but if you are looking for that, its not really in this book. otherwise the quality of the book and drawings are nice!
Our five year old is finally getting the idea that church isn't just an hour of playing on daddy's cell phone. Now, he only gets it after the gospel. Don't judge me - he's a challenge!This coloring book contains a short one-page child-level summary of the gospel suitable for probably up to kindergarten-age, with a rendering of the basic idea to color on the back. You can cut the page out so that it's all on one - front and back. It's easy to understand the story but so shallow it's just an introduction. They're not going to learn anything more than "Jesus loves the children" or "Jesus cured the man blind from birth."This gives us a chance to review the gospel the night before so maybe he'll listen for it and get a little thrill (or at least recognition) when it's read aloud at mass.You have to know what the gospel is going to be - these are sequential but not really complete. I use a free Android app called Laudate to look it up Saturday evening.I'd give this five stars but it is truly so simple that it's just not a five-star product. Perhaps I was expecting more, but my wife has been reminding me of his age since he was two. Maybe it is a five-star...
This is a big book with a nice table of contents in the front that goes in order through the Bible, so it is easy to find the picture you are looking for. The pages are nice and thick, great for photocopying. The images themselves are not too "cartoony" but not too realistic for young children, either. Overall it is a great book.
This has been an easy go-to daily Bible lesson for my hands-on kids that love to color. The story from scripture on the back is written in a way that is truth yet in language children understand. The time they spend coloring allows for reflection and for the story to set in. The publisher gives permission for you to copy pages for personal use, so I copy the ones my really little ones want to also color.
I bought this book for my church's sunday school. But my daughter loves it so much! I have to order another one for her. The only problem is I could not stop her from the story. She kept ask me to read another one. They story is really good for kids. It is simple and short.And the coloring page is good too. I bought several different kinds bible story books for my daugher. But she loves this one best!!
