I will write a more detailed review in the future, but wanted to assure fans of the Yubi shashi (point and speak) books - yes, this book is written for English speakers wanting to learn more Japanese. I may post pictures if the author or allows it. With the popularity of Japanese food, I think this book would benefit hundreds, if not thousands of traveling "foodies". This book is a classic for me, much like the first "Point and Speak Japan" book I purchased in the Narita Airport years ago. Its great to be able to buy this book (in America) and not have to go through the airport and deal with Ebola screenings from the TSA.
I love this book. I learn better by physical example, so this book has been incredibly helpful in helping me learn Japanese.
