I cannot say enough good things about this book! I have been searching for a long time for a book that could give me a few guidelines, or steps, to creating an art quilt and this book does that and more. Not only does the book guide you in making an art quilt, it also gives you a lot of open-ended suggestions for make your own original piece of art. You will learn everything you need to know which includes all the supplies, inspiration and where to find it, how to choose fabrics, how to embellish your quilt including paint and stitching, different ideas for putting your quilt together, binding the quilt and finally displaying your quilt. This is definitely a must-have for everyone who ever wanted to make their own art quilt!
