I don't plan on getting one but I think it's a pretty cool technology. Grabbed this for the sake of reading and getting to know more about this awesome invention. For those who want to have one, this is an awesome book to read. The book was short but the coverage was full of substance. Perfect for those who want to operate a ham radio.
Ham radios were all the rage at one point in time, and some enthusiasts are still using them well into the 21st century. This book is a really useful guide, especially if you're new to using a ham radio or want to learn more about what one is.
This is not a book but a brochure on Ham radio. Also the term Ham hasn't been defined that way, it was a LID that was used to describe Late In the Day operators that were not well versed. While I applaud you for trying to get the word out, had I paid for this I would demand a refund. Not a user guide at all.
This is a short read. It has given some facts and ideas about Ham Radio and how it can be used on times when urgent communication is needed the most. It has some tips and tricks, stuff to avoid, and of course some of the useful tips that anyone using the Ham Radio will be able to use.
As an entry level ham radio hobbyist, this book provides zero usable information. Talk to a ham. Any ham. Even a ham who hates you and has trashed his own equipment. You will get more information than this mislabeled "guide" offers. A waste of magnetic power. If it was labeled for preschool use ((I'm talking 3 to 5 year old kids here), it might do for a day.
This was a waste of my time, and data. It shouldn't be called 'ultimate guide's it should be called basic definition of Ham. Even THAT is stretching it! The only thing I learned was the term 'Elmer' which I find funny and will now call my good friend because he fits the definition lol
Another wanna be, no significant content, most of this information is elementary and available from the web for free. Almost as it the author has no personal experience
